This project has taken years to come to fruition. Now that it is a reality, I have more gratitude than squealing joy because it almost did not happen. If it wasn’t for my pastor’s wife (Stacy Wiggins) the material would have remained in a WORD DOCUMENT. My pastor’s wife brought fresh wind and beauty to this workbook study by adding such clever graphics to the workbook. It is an 8-week study as described below. It is user friendly, and my editing team took it from a word document to a workbook. It is now only available on Amazon. My editor’s husband who is my web master, has worked with Amazon to get the price as low as possible so everyone can get a copy of this burst of oxygen for the soul: “Women Keeping Hope Alive”. Below is the description that is on the back cover. Several churches are already planning on using it with their women’s group. I will be team teaching it with my Pastor’s wife in September at Calvary Church Port Saint Lucie. Here is the description:
“Women Keeping Hope Alive” By Jackie Kendall
From the faithful footsteps of Ruth to the bold actions of Esther, from the wisdom of Deborah to the devotion of Mary—Women Keeping Hope Alive brings to life the extraordinary stories of women who shaped the biblical story of redemption.
Beloved Christian author and speaker Jackie Kendall invites readers into a journey through Scripture and history, spotlighting not only the well-known heroines of the Bible but also the courageous Christian women who followed in their legacy—pioneers of faith, leaders, and spiritual mothers who stood strong in the face of adversity and kept hope alive.
With her characteristic insight, Jackie’s heartfelt and often humorous writing presents very practical wisdom. Jackie illuminates how these women’s lives offer timeless encouragement for today’s believers. Their stories set the stage for learning about spiritual disciplines, such as fasting, prayer, and the study of the Word. The workbook offers an outline for an 8-week study, as well as a comprehensive appendix of tools to enhance the spiritual disciplines.
Whether you’re seeking encouragement, purpose, or a deeper understanding of God’s faithfulness, this book is a powerful reminder: God has always used faith-filled women to persevere in hope to accomplish His purposes.
Discover the courage. Embrace the grace. Live the legacy.
One of my mentor’s, Bettye Galbraith used to always say, “Child the best is yet to come ” and in my heart I considered that a nice “meme ” but not likely at my age! This Bible study is a bold display of her remark, and it is very humbling that God is not finished yet with this old girl.
Because of your faithful support and prayers, this project went from a file on a computer to an encouraging Study for Papa’s girls.
